Dayton is officially 3 years old. He has decided to have the Terrible Threes instead of the Terrible Twos, which Duncan also did. I think whoever came up with the Terrible Twos had no idea what they were talking about. I think two-year-olds are very nice and sweet. Three-year-olds are a different story. Not that he isn't great...he is totally awesome of course! He just doesn't listen. At all. To anyone. But he had a great time at his birthday party. I made him a little racecar track cake. He tried to race the little candy cars around but didn't have much luck. His favorite presents were a whole pack of racecars from his grandma and a little red tent to play in that we got at IKEA...I love that store. I can't believe he is almost a Sunbeam. January will be the first time in 3 1/2 years that I have not had a child in nursery. Weird.

I was completely convinced with Lydia that threes are ten times more terrible than the twos....however, Wyatt is proving that a child can be quite terrible at two. I'm really hoping he isn't worse at three.
