3-yr-old for Sale
Jeff and I have spent about a week painting our whole upstairs because we are getting new carpet and except for the bathroom and the boys' room nothing has ever been painted. So yesterday Jeff took the day off to get it all finished and we were painting what will be Tucker's room. Duncan was at preschool and Dayton was (we thought) downstairs watching a movie. After awhile he came upstairs to ask me for a wipe to clean off his toys. I wondered what had happened to them so when I walked downstairs I noticed that the paint roller that had been sitting on the counter was missing. I kept looking for it, wanting it to not be true that it was missing. I finally worked up the courage to go downstairs and this is just a small section of what I saw. Dayton had climbed up on the counter, grabbed the blue roller, and painted little sections of every single wall downstairs. Downstairs is a very pale yellow. Now with blue stripes. He had also painted a good bit of his toys. He did have the sense to clean those up though. Thank goodness he wanted a wipe or I don't know how much worse it would have gotten. He had been asking us all morning to help paint upstairs so I let him do a few strokes, then sent him downstairs. Apparently he decided to take things into his own hands and paint downstairs himself. He is so helpful!

OH MAN! That is totally something Carter would do. What are we going to do with these guys?!
Oh my, I would kill him! JK That is something I hope I never experience. Boys are soooo crazy!
Wow, good luck getting that paint off. He did want to help...that is one good thing right.
Jaimee! I had to stop by your blog and say hi! It's been a long time, it's fun to catch up on what adventures you're having. Your boys are absolutely adorable, looks like you're busy and having fun. It's been a long time since we partied when we were sixteen!
Oh, I'm soooooooo sorry. That looks like a fun one to clean up. It's a good thing they are so cute, otherwise it's moments like this when we really would sell them, Right!?!
