Yesterday Duncan had to go to the dentist to have 2 cavities filled, way up between his molars on top. Both he and Dayton had gone last week for checkups and Duncan was most disappointed that his teeth had problems and Dayton's didn't. They both had a great time with the checkup and loved the little goody bags they went home with. But the cavity visit wasn't quite as fun. Duncan was very brave though...he didn't even cry when he got the shot to numb his mouth. He got a little scared when the drilling started but even then he did great. When it was all over he got to pick out a water gun as a prize. Dayton was very interested in the whole thing and insisted that his teeth had holes too. He wanted the dentist to check his teeth again. Here is Duncan trying to smile while half of his mouth was still numbed up.

Lydia has already had to have a filling and a root canal...auggggghhhh!!! Luckily our dentist uses laughing gas...or as lydia fondly calls it: Goofy Gas! and she really really likes it! (so do I!)
