We started things off by just letting all the kids play with balloons - it's amazing how much fun they can have. Even the older cousins were having a blast...probably more fun than Tucker actually.
Here is Tuck with all of his loot. He made out quite well!
Tucker was content to watch as his crazy brothers opened most of his stuff. I tried to get them to let him at least try it once or twice but that wasn't really working.
This room was clean about an hour ago, I swear.
He's gearing up for the cake...you can see he's ready to have at it - he's trying to grab the plate from me.

That cake is awesome! How'd you do it?
Wow! The birthday party looks like it was a fun time for all. Love the "eating the birthday cake" picture. Jaimee, you are so right...they most certainly grow up too fast.
1-year birthday parties are the best! He is sooo cute--His big blue eyes are unreal!
I second the question from the first commentor--how did you do that awesome cake?
Well I am flattered that you guys think the cake is good - I wasn't sure what I thought about it. You just use the gel decorating tubes to make spiderweb shapes, then I sort of smushed them down with my finger because otherwise the colors stayed too dark. Then you drag a toothpick from the center out. I copied a picture I found online and I think that I should have used the neon set of colors instead of the standard to get brighter colors. But it comes with pink instead of red so I think the best option is probably getting both sets. Thanks!
What a party! Happy birthday Tucker! Great cake!
I got skillz. :-)
The party looks great. I can't believe how fast kids grow up. Tucker is so cute!! I too love the cake. What a fun idea.
