I Have Obviously Lost My Mind
Well, it's official. The kids have done me in I guess. That's the only explanation for this. I was driving along running some errands the other day when I happened across this little guy. I hadn't yet decided on what to get Jeff for his birthday, and for some reason he struck me as a good choice. Don't get me wrong, I like him. He is a cute little guy. But with 3 kids age five and under I question my sanity in deciding to add an 8-week old puppy to the mix. So, meet Jack. He's a border collie and the kids love him. He likes to chew the carpet and people's toes. He really is pretty good though...he doesn't make a lot of noise and he sleeps great. Jeff is in love with him already. We are looking forward to teaching him all kinds of tricks. I want to teach him to pick up the kids' toys. I figure that if we are welcoming him into our home he can at least pull his own weight, right?

Sit Jack, Sit.
Too cute! We just got a dog, too. I figure it's practice for parenting, right? Hopefully it goes both ways and your little boy parenting skills will transfer over and make training a puppy seem all too easy. Have fun!
I just can't wait for him to start catching frisbees out of midair like they say Border Collies are good at.
Crazy! Yep, you are. :) I love the name Jack. (that's what we were going to call Libby if she was a boy) Was Jeff surprised?
Yes, quite. Yes, we liked the name Jack for one of our boys, but with the last name of Kennedy....its just a little too presidential.
That is so funny. I agree, a little too presidental. :)
How fun- hopefully! You are much braver than I- that is for sure :)
How fun! What a great wife/mom you are Jaimee. I'm thankful my boys are content with adoring our neighbor's dogs through the fence. :)
Oh, and we just made our blog private. Send me your email and I'll send you an invite to view it.

What a sweet little face! I can see how you fell in love with him!
He is so cute. I am sure the kids love him and he will be a great addition to the family. You are much braver than me though. We had fish a couple months after Jonathan was born and I had the hardest time taking care of 2 kids and FISH!!! I had to get rid of the fish. I know I couldn't do a dog right now if I couldn't even do fish. You are such a good mommy and wife.
