Halloween Carnival

The young men and young women in our ward put on a Halloween carnival for the primary - it was so fun! They had a ton of games to play with lots of little prizes and candy to earn. There was a cupcake walk, musical chairs, face painting, bowling, a coloring table, and about ten more little areas. They boys had a blast there. They wanted to be something different than they will be for trick or treating, so my mom had this for Duncan:She made this dinosaur costume about thirty years ago for my brother. Everyone at the carnival got a kick out of it with its gigantic tail. Dayton is wearing the chicken costume that Duncan wore a few years ago. I'm always glad for an opportunity to reuse a costume!

Duncan had a great time playing musical chairs until once when the music stopped he got a seat really fast and then the purple witch bumped him out of it onto the floor! He was a good sport though and didn't complain. I felt bad for him though.

Dayton couldn't quite reach the donut on a string. He was trying so hard but the kid running it wasn't paying very good attention so he just ate it once it got cut down.

It was super loud in the gym with all of the kids crammed in there so after about an hour Dayton said he was tired because everyone was talking so loud. He decided to just sit and wait until Duncan was done. They loved all of their loot!
