Feel Good Moment

So tonight we had Family Home Evening. We decided that we would act out a scripture story since that is pretty much the only way Dayton ever pays attention. We were just discussing what story to do when the phone rang. I went upstairs and when I came back down just a couple of minutes later they were all set. They had decided to do the story of Jonah (which is a post in and of itself since they really only know the Veggietales version and were convinced that the real people of Nineveh actually slapped people with fishes), and had assigned me the part of - what else - the whale. As I am struggling not to laugh/cry, the boys break out in a chorus of why I got the part: "You are just perfect for the whale, Mommy!" "You're exactly like the whale!" "Mommy's big just like a whale." Nothing like a little honesty when you're only a week and a half away from your due date.
