First Day of Preschool

I'm actually a little behind on this post. His first day was almost two weeks ago now. But I hadn't pulled pictures off the camera until today.

Tuck was pretty excited to go to preschool. Almost everyone from his Sunbeam class is in there with him with the exception of his very best friend because he is a year behind Tucker in school. He didn't really care that much about it until we went to an orientation meeting where he got to see the classroom, paint his bag, and have a donut. Then he asked every day for the next week when he got to go.

I love that such a great preschool is just right down the street. 'Miss Lisa' is the best teacher and she totally loves all the kids. They have so much fun and learn all kinds of great stuff.

I have to say I'm kind of ashamed of myself because thanks to my not doing much educational time with Tucker he barely knew anything. At all. The few times I did sit down with him and try to help him learn to write letters it was pretty sad. But apparently he just needed the right motivation, or else he was just faking it with me. Because within three days of going to preschool he can suddenly spell and write his name. And actually write it pretty well. He also colored a picture with nothing going outside the lines, something I've never seen him do before. Go Tuck!
