We have been talking to the kids a lot lately about not using not-so-nice language. Nothing super bad, just kid stuff that they bring home from school. There have been some name-calling incidents (moron, idiot) and just using not the nicest words (stupid, crap, butt, etc.). Last week FHE was basically just one long lecture about this topic. Immediately after Jeff went outside to let Slinky off of his rope...the door and windows were open and everyone was still sitting right there...because he had wound himself around the tree. So Jeff called him a moron (which, in Jeff's defense, he really is....he wraps himself around the tree and gets himself stuck multiple times a day). I quietly pointed out that it might not be the best time to be calling him a moron. To which Jeff replied "Crap, sorry." Nice one Jeff.

Thanks for the tip on what words to use on the car rides to school. :-)
So I just played catch up on your blog and wow, I love your family. You guys are awesome. I love the "do as I say..." moments. I feel they may happen a bit to often for us.
