Wow, July was certainly not my month for blogging, was it? I wish I could say it's because we have been off doing amazingly fun things, but sadly, no. However, we did do at least one fun thing: Foam Days. My mom (she's the only reason my kids get to do anything) saw in the paper that Lehi was doing something called Foam Days. Apparently the Lehi fire department just sprays out foam for a few hours for kids - and a lot of adults - to play in. So we decided to check it out.
Look at that! It's just dish soap mixed into the firefighters' hoses. They spray it continually so it was at least 2 feet deep.
Dayton tried to get his cousin/best friend Grace to go in but she wasn't too into it.
My dad tried with Tucker since he was a little scared, but he didn't have any better luck than Dayton did. Tucker just stood there and didn't make a fuss, but after my dad brought him back out he shot him dirty looks for about 10 minutes.
Here's Duncan and my dad....seriously, I think there were more adults covered in it than kids.
I had to get in for at least a few minutes, but I wasn't any more adventurous than just getting my legs in - it felt kind of cool, but there was way too much loose grass floating around in there for my taste.
Here they are at the end - I think Dayton looks just like a little sheep.
