So right before we were going to leave my mom's house from dinner Sunday night Dayton walked inside and I noticed that he has a big piece of gum in his hair. I asked him what happened and he told me that Duncan put it in. So I called Duncan inside and he gleefully informed me that yes, he did indeed do it. Seemed quite proud of it. I, being the extremely rational parent that I am, told him that if he put gum in anyone's hair again he wouldn't get another piece of gum until he was 7.
I have never had to get gum out of hair before, so I was hoping that peanut butter worked as well as I had heard it did.
Dayton was not a big fan of getting his hair pulled up over and over again to try and get all the little strands of gum out.
All done! Hooray!!

Love, love, love, the last photo. The removal of the "sticky yucky gum" is completed. Yeah! Dayton's expression of joy tells it all!
Oh the joys of motherhood. He has to be one of the cutest boys ever!
So, I take it the peanut butter worked? That last picture is CLASSIC!!
I am going to have to agree with others, that last picture is my absolute favorite! Glad the peanut butter worked and he did not have to have a bald spot.
