Blessing Day

We blessed Ellie at church on Sunday. She looked so beautiful, and Jeff gave her a wonderful blessing. My dad, my brother, Jeff's brother-in-law, and his good friend stood in the circle. She wore the same dress that I was blessed in, so that was really neat.

My parents came to take pictures with her before our ward started since when ours got out they were in their ward and they missed out on the group shot. I tried to get my brother to agree to come over before church as well but he wanted to be lazy :)

Here's the rest of us. Jeff''s sister's family is on the left and my brother's family is on the right. Notice my extremely well-behaved children (ha ha). Seriously, they are impossible.

Look at what a cutie pie she is! I love her smiles.

Her expression in this one just made me laugh.
Here is the full effect...the dress is gorgeous I think. My mom made it 28 years ago. I had thought of maybe making a dress for her myself but then I remembered that I really don't sew very well so this was a much better option. Plus I really like the fact that we were both blessed in the same dress. When Dayton saw her in this he called her Little White Riding Hood. Duncan thought she looked like a pioneer. I thought she looked perfect!

She looks like one of those lifelike porcelain dolls that you can buy from an infomercial or something. She's GORGEOUS!!
