Dayton's preschool also had a field trip to the zoo this year, and since I hadn't been on any other field trips with his preschool class (mostly because of the whole new baby thing) I was feeling really bad and decided to go on this one, even though I had just been to the zoo last month with Duncan's class. Preschool field trips are really fun because the kids are just so excited by everything, plus it's okay to bring younger kids. Always a plus.
Here's the whole class waiting to go in. Notice everyone else is looking at their teacher as she's taking a picture, but Dayton is looking right at me. What a guy.
Here's Dayton and his best buddy Jacob. These two love to play together after preschool. They are pretty cute together.
The very last animals we looked at were these cool guys. This one is the baby and he totally put on a show for us. He was swinging and tumbling all over the place. The kids absolutely loved it.
Dayton and Jacob again. They were buddies who had to stick together the whole time - not a problem at all. I am bummed that Jacob will go do a different elementary school next year, but hopefully they can stay friends.
