Hooray for Older Siblings

On Sunday mornings Duncan is almost always the first one ready, so I have started to take advantage of this and he gets Ellie dressed a lot of the time now. It's a fabulous system...I pick her clothes out (obviously) and she thinks it's great fun to have Dunc be her helper.

*Excuse the mess...Ellie thinks it's great to trash her room when she's supposed to be napping.

First, jammies off

"How are you supposed to know which is the front?" Sadly, even after 2+ years of having a girl I still don't know. He eventually figures out that one side is dirtier and that must be the bottom of her feet and goes from there.

Ah, the joys of trying to get tights on a squirmy two-year-old.

"Hold still!"

Duncan goes for the step into it strategy of getting her dress on.

Arms in.

Ellie takes a minute to play with her baby while she's getting buttoned up.

Almost there...

Ellie tries hiding in the corner to avoid getting her shoes on - not sure what that's about. But she's no match for Duncan. He perseveres and she's ready to go. (Except for a hairdo, but that's a little beyond his abilities...I've got to work on teaching him a few tricks :) )
