Foam Day

We love foam day! Once a year in Lehi the firefighters spend two hours covering a huge area with fluffy foam from their fire hoses and the kids absolutely love it. I was excited for Ellie to be able to actually enjoy it this year, and evidently my dad was too b/c as soon as we got to the place he grabbed Ellie and took her right in. She wasn't sure about it and before she could make up her mind she got blasted in the face and everywhere else with a huge shot of foam. Not a great way to start out. Of course she started screaming and had no interest in going near the foam after that.

Tucker wasn't a huge fan either at the start, but he perked up a little once he got a turn spraying the foam. He covered my dad pretty good and Bryce too.

Duncan and Bryce spent most of their time sliding around in the foam, which covered them head to toe. They loved it and just didn't stop.

 Such a cute little fat boy.

After quite awhile Ellie started getting brave. She would walk around in the little piles of foam that had gotten splashed out of the main area and play. She gave herself a cute pair of foam boots.

Charlie slept through most of it, but when he woke up he got in the action a little bit. Dayton was very excited to help dip his toes in.

A little while later Ellie got super brave and just went for it. She was running around in foam that went up to her chest. She even got sprayed a little and handled it like a pro. She is awesome.

Duncan, Bryce, and Grace....the three crazies who lasted until the end (well, Ellie too I guess once she got going). They had a blast getting covered in it the whole time until it was over. Can't wait until next year!
